The financial report which was made by NBG GROUP, at the final of the third trimester of 2006, related a vast presentation of assets from the group (towards the customers) by over 72.5 milliards, amount which was 2.2 times biggest than the amount financed by financial institutions which deployed the activity in Romania at that time.
Hereby, having the endorsement of the most important player on the international financial market and offering a large variety of products and services, EURIAL LEASING had, during the past year, the most spectacular upsurge/growth on the financial leasing market from Romania.
Short Histroy
Eurial Leasing was founded in 2003, being integrated in Eurial groups, well-known on the Romanian market, especially like the main importer of PEUGEOT vehicles. Within this group of firms, there are also included Trust Motors, Eurial Invest, Eurial Broker and so on. For an approval period of 3 years, Eurial Leasing financed imported assets and sold by group partners, creating a very compact, stable and solvent client portfolio.
At the beginning of November 2005, The National Bank of Greece purchased 70% of Eurial Leasing actions whose assets valued 50 millions euro, at the moment of transaction, making certain premises for the launch of Eurial Leasing towards a lieder statute on the financial market of Romania.
National Bank of Greece (NBG) is the oldest and the biggest commercial bank in Greece. It was founded in 1841 and issued banknotes until the foundation of the Central Bank of Greece in 1928.
The Bank was listed on the Stock Market from Athena until the foundation of it, in 1880. In 1999 actions were listed on the Stock Exchange from New York. NBG became a financial group which includes besides the universal bank, a brokerage, assurances, funds transaction, leasing and factoring.
