Starting today 25 February 2008, Banca Romaneasca has decided to increase the level of the interest rates for term deposits in lei, with fixed interest, offering amongst the best annual interest rates on the market for this type of savings instruments, ranged between 7% and 9.1% depending on the deposit maturity.

Thus, for the deposit on 3 months, the interest rate increased from 7.4% to 9.1%, and in the case of deposits on one year the interest rate was increased from 8% to 8.5%.
